Askî, the land
Healing begins by slowing down and letting the land hold the moment with steadiness, quiet, and care.
Tansi. Welcome to Spiritstone.
Tawâw, welcome. Spiritstone Therapy offers ground-based equine-assisted healing and culturally rooted wellness experiences for families, schools, and community groups. Here, mistatim (horse), askî (land), and gentle guidance create space for connection, confidence, and hope.
Healing begins by slowing down and letting the land hold the moment with steadiness, quiet, and care.
Each horse is met as a teacher, a relation, and a living part of the journey toward trust, confidence, and healing.
Everything is connected in relationship, and that sense of belonging shapes how Spiritstone welcomes every visitor.
Tawâw
Spiritstone offers a healing space where families, schools, and community groups can experience support, cultural presence, and the steady wisdom of the horses.
Spiritstone is carried by a team with deep roots in horse care, healing work, and community connection.
Sessions are ground-based and may include observation, grooming, leading, obstacle work, reflection, and time to settle the spirit.
Families, youth, adults, schools, and groups are all welcome, with programs shaped to meet people where they are.
Visitors can expect a calm, respectful space where healing moves at a human pace and relationships come first.
Sacred Teachings
These teachings help visitors feel the heart of Spiritstone before they ever step onto the land.
Wâhkôhtowin means kinship. Healing begins by remembering that we belong to one another, to the horses, and to the land.
Mîyo-wîcêhtowin means good relations. Each session is guided with respect, kindness, and care for every person, horse, and family who enters the space.
Respect creates safety. Through calm leadership, presence, and clear boundaries, participants learn how trust can be built gently and honestly.
Miyo-pimâtisiwin speaks to living a good life. The work at Spiritstone supports balance, confidence, healing, and hope that can carry into everyday life.
Session Rhythm
This gentle rhythm helps families, schools, and community partners imagine the experience without losing its spirit.
The session opens by slowing down, settling the body, and arriving with intention so the spirit has room to soften.
Participants begin through observation, breath, and presence before asking anything of the horse.
Ground exercises, leading, obstacles, and reflection reveal lessons around trust, boundaries, communication, and courage.
The experience ends by giving thanks, noticing what shifted, and carrying the teaching forward into daily life.
