How Spiritstone began
Spiritstone grew from a wish to create a place where people could come home to themselves through land-based healing, horse connection, and cultural presence.
About Spiritstone
Spiritstone is rooted in Wâhkôhtowin (kinship), the understanding that we are all connected. Through horses, askî (land), and gentle guidance, families, schools, and community members are welcomed into a space of healing, learning, and belonging.
Our Story
Families, schools, and community groups can learn how the work is held with horses, land, culture, and care.
Spiritstone grew from a wish to create a place where people could come home to themselves through land-based healing, horse connection, and cultural presence.
Mistatim (horse) offers honest feedback, quiet companionship, and powerful lessons in trust, boundaries, and confidence.
Many people come looking for healing, support, or a new way forward. What they often find is calm, connection, and a sense of being welcomed just as they are.
Guiding Principles
Wâhkôhtowin (kinship) reminds us that healing happens in relationship.
Mîyo-wîcêhtowin (good relations) guides how we meet one another with respect and care.
Each session honours safety, calm leadership, and the teachings carried by the horses and the land.
Growth is nurtured through experience, reflection, culture, and connection.
